Committees
The Assessment and Information Management Committee conducts, analyzes, reports, and retains research in the various areas related to student housing and residence life and maintains the membership database.
The purpose of the Communications Committee is to develop and maintain appropriate standards for communication and information sharing via the agencies with which we outsource. In addition, this committee is responsible for the solicitation and dissemination of knowledge through various channels.
Social Justice
The Social Justice is responsible for increasing the Association's and it's members capacity to value cultural and individual differences.
The Executive Committee is comprised of the elected officers of the Association.
The Host Committee coordinates the planning and logistical components affiliated with the Association's annual conference.
The Membership Involvement Committee recruits candidates for the Association's elected offices, chairperson positions, conference fee waiver recipients, bids for conference host sites, as well as, encourages involvement by new and veteran members.
The Professional Development and Training Committee provides professional development opportunities for entry level, mid level and upper level professionals in the association on topics of business/financial administration, residence life, food service, facilities management, and central administration.
The Program Committee is responsible for the recruitment and assembly of the educational sessions presented at the annual conference.
The Sponsors and Exhibits Committee solicits vendor support and involvement in Association publications, exhibits and activities.
The Tradition and Recognition Committee solicits nominations and recommends recipients for awards sponsored by the Association.
