Executive Committee
Purpose
To lead UMR-ACUHO in a manner that reflects the values and mission of the Association.
Assocation Goals
1. Keep the mission and values statements, goals and structure of the Association visible and accessible to the membership.
2. Provide and promote opportunities for members to become actively involved with the Association.
3. Promote and incorporate inclusiveness in all functions of the Association.
4. Explore and address the growing technological needs of the Association.
5. Practice sound financial management to keep our members’ costs affordable while honoring the values and mission of the Association.
6. Assess and modify the Association’s operational procedures and new organizational structure implemented in 2007.
2008 Executive Committee Goals:
- Lead the Association to accomplish the 2008 goals (see above).
- Understand and fulfill the expectations of the Executive Committee members’ positions.
- Explore effective methods to serve as ambassadors of the Association.
- Examine process for training and transition of Executive Officers and Committee Chairs to be effective leaders.
- Promote and honor the knowledge of and appreciation for the foundation, culture, and history of the Association.
- Examine the Climate Study and how the results pertain to the Executive Committee.
- Promote and incorporate inclusiveness through the work of the Executive Committee.
- Continue to evaluate the Executive Committee’s roles, responsibilities, and structure.
