2010 Association Goals
It is understood that Association goals are meant to support the mission and value of UMR-ACUHO and as such are those toward which all committees will strive in their volunteer efforts.
1. Keep the mission, values, goals, and structure of the Association visible and accessible to the membership.
2. Provide and promote opportunities for members to become actively involved with the Association.
3. Promote and incorporate inclusiveness in all functions of the Association.
4. Explore and address the growing technological needs of the Association.
5. Practice sound financial management to keep our members’ costs affordable while honoring the values and mission of the Association.
6. Assess and modify the Association’s operational procedures and organizational structure.
7. Continue to explore options for promoting sustainability throughout our practices.
8. Promote strong collaborative relationships with all Association stakeholders; to include but not limited to, vendors, other regional associations, and ACUHO-I.
2010 Executive Committee Goals
PURPOSE: To lead UMR-ACUHO in a manner that reflects the values and mission of the Association.
1. Lead the Association to accomplish the 2010 goals (see above).
2. Understand and fulfill the expectations of the Executive Committee members’ positions.
3. Serve as ambassadors of the Association.
4. Promote and honor the knowledge of and appreciation for the foundation, culture, and history of the Association.
5. Continue to ensure we incorporate what we learned from the most recent Climate Study and how the results pertain to the Executive Committee.
6. Promote and incorporate inclusiveness through the work of the Executive Committee.
7. Continue to evaluate the Executive Committee’s roles, responsibilities, and structure.
8. Continue to pursue methods to keep financial costs for committee members reasonable.
9. Support the efforts of the self-study committee.
