As many of you have been trying to register for our upcoming annual conference, "Sample the Good Life" October 28-30, 2009 in beautiful Kearney, NE, some of you have expressed difficulty in logging into our website (www.umr-acuoho.org.) Most of these difficulties are to do with your institutions membership directory not being up to date. Something as simple as your email address not being accurate will cause the system to not recognize you. As many of you have recently experienced institutional name changes, this has been a frequent problem. If you are having difficulty logging into our website, please contact the person in your central office who you think is most likely to be responsible for updating your directory online. UMR-ACUHO simply doesn't have the staff to check these for the entire region. Ask this person to verify that you are listed in the directory, and that your email address was entered accurately, particularly if you are new. If you just can't remember your password, at the login page of our website has a password recovery option. Your username is always your full email address. If you enter that and then click on password recovery, the system emails you your password. If you are the person who updates the online directory for your school, please make sure it is updated so that your colleagues can register for the conference. If you are having difficulty in doing this, please contact your MAL (Member at Large) and they will be glad to assist. The MAL for your state is: Iowa and Nebraska:
Kansas and Wisconsin: 715-232-2353 North Dakota, South Dakota, Manitoba: Christina Hurtado Minnesota and Missouri: Javier Gutierrez 651-523-3076 I hope you give serious consideration to attending “Sampel the Good Life," as I know that many of our association volunteers have put in tireless hours to maximize the conference experience for every one of our attendees. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Terry Tumbarello Vice President/President Elect
